mind before writing. I have had trouble clearing my mind in getting my ideas out there.
I truly do take pleasure in writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are usually wasted
just trying to figure out how to begin. Any suggestions or tips?

  5. I see Wesz at The Red Door Hawthorn he’s a bit of a rebel in the industry but iv’e followed him from his early days on Collins Street. Great at what he does and i’m always laughing when i’m sitting in his chair even if it’s at him not with him ;) highly recommend if you want a great cut minus all the fluff most hairdressers try and put on you.

  6. I will tell you a place you should not visit if you want a good haircut , prophecy hair in fitzroy , they cheap and nasty products and charge premium prices stay away if you want a place that had rats roaming in the salon as I witnessed

  7. One of the best I’ve had was Rare Earth Hair. There are a few lovely unexpected treats (massage, tea/coffee, little ‘thank you’ bag for new clients), atmosphere is relaxed, stylists down-to-earth and professional. The end result was what I asked for.

  8. KODO on Hardware Lane!! Great people and they love what they do, which is evident in their cutting!! I can grow my hair and it still keeps it’s shape and style!!

  9. All the kings men in Victoria st nth Melbourne a bit of a wait but worth it listen to some great tunes and read the paper while your waiting.

  10. Doctor Follicles on swan street in Richmond is a pretty sweet Barbers. Friendly staff, quality cuts and excellent music. Plus its all topped off with a complimentary Cooper’s pale ale.

  11. BIBA Academy Johnston st fitzory or swanston st Melbourne city . Student environment great cuts and colours at a very affordable price :)

  12. Confidente just off the Royal Arcade in Elizabeth St in the city. It’s a boutique boutique, good haircuts, and always an interesting conversation to be had with Rebecca.

  13. Medusa Concept in Malvern East! (Cnr Malvern and Darling Rds) – just fabulous salon- cutting edge…. lovely space to sit in for a couple of hours.

  14. Best Cheap Haircuts
Top end of Elizabeth Street, CBD (between A’Beckett and Therry Streets). There are about 3-4 stores selling quick haircuts for $10 lads – $15 ladies. Good for quick simple and cheap haircuts. If you don’t like one, go to the next.

  15. Located in the shopping heart of South Melbourne, Hoxton is
a unique hairdressing salon. Housed within a striking heritage building, this spacious, modern hair salon offers a welcoming atmosphere in which to enjoy the expertise of the Hoxton team of specialist stylists and colourists.

  16. SDM Hair Studio, Keilor Rd Niddrie -9374 4555. Consistently good with cuts & colours for both women & men. Beautiful salon, great hairdressers & efficient. Highly recommend!

  17. After going all over Melbourne and paid all kinds of prices I have returned to my mum’s hairdresser in the suburbs, Bel Air in Balwyn, Zach does an amazing job, reads minds and delivers!

  18. Yes, Tony & Guy are good (Prahran is) but the best haircut experience I’ve ever had was with Rakis years back. A guy called Wes (no longer there). Even though it was a voucher I would’ve paid good money to get a cut with him again. Best cut I’ve every had.

  19. Royal Crown Barbers in Hawthorn are the go for guys.
    630 Glenferrie road Hawthorn

Great atmosphere and service plus obviously a very good cut. Love these guys and the way the appointmenst run via the chalkboard – first in first served although you can cakll in advance to get on the list!!

  20. MANCUSO
If you are in need of a bit of a pick-me-up, Mancuso is the place to go. This inner-city retreat allows clients to enjoy a range ofservices from haircuts and colours to facials, massage, manicures and body treatments. The Japanese-style spa treatment area uses all-natural products, while the staff are some of the best stylists, masseurs,
beauticians and naturopaths in Melbourne. Mancuso has a Salon in Kyneton plus a country day spa in the Metcalfe Valley for the perfect getaway.

  21. Mancuso in Victoria st North Melbourne. Friendly staff, you can have a coffee and a glass of wine. They do a particularly good mens haircut but cater for both sexes and all styles.

  22. Royal Crown Barbers on Glenferrie Rd. Specialising in rockabilly haircuts, they do pretty much anything though. They take their time, which is the best. Probably the only barber I’d go to in Melbourne, and they’re cheap to boot.

  23. The best haircut experience I’ve had in Melbourne was at Head On in Hawthorn. It’s almost as though they can read your mind when it comes to figuring out what you want done with your hair.

  24. Vesna Hair Care in Yarraville – been in the business for along time with great young talent too! The best of both worlds: great cuts/colours and awesome French Rolls / Barrell Curls for those special occassions! Not many hairdressers left in Melbourne that can give you that ‘classic’ look using original techniques…

  25. Zucci in Ivanhoe, Hawthorn, and the City. Every hairdresser there is amazing and you get a lovely head massage with your choice of Aveda oil with every cut. You come out feeling great and smelling delicious with a fantastic haircut, too!

  26. I really love the haircuts I get at Intaglio in Malvern Central (Wattletree Road, Armadale). Well priced and I’ve never had a bad one there, despite several different people cutting my hair. They are all so professional and can almost always get you in for an appointment. 10 out of 10.
